The poster "Technicians, the Navy Needs You" was created in 1945 by the Marine Voorlichtings Dienst (MARVO), the Dutch Navy's Public Relations Service. It was part of a recruitment campaign aimed at encouraging skilled technicians to join the Royal Netherlands Navy during World War II. The goal was to bolster the naval forces with technically proficient personnel who could contribute to the war effort against the Axis powers.
