Van Geelkerken Honoring Brave Youth Storm Heroes: A Ceremony of Valor

This badge of honor existed in two versions:

• Numbered copies: the first 1200 were numbered, see photo from Almanac 1942
• Unnumbered copies: these were distributed personally by the head stormer (chief). The youth storm members in service of the Waffen SS, Volunteer Legion Netherlands, and NSKK also received an unnumbered copy. This was also given as a replacement for a lost copy. This badge was often worn on the uniforms of, for example, Waffen SS and/or NSKK members, with all the risks that entailed.
