STRIJD EN OFFER PLAQUE

This plaque was awarded to the next of kin of NSB members who were already in possession of the STRIJD EN OFFER insignia and who were killed as a result of violent action.

Only a few of these medals were issued. In most cases, they concerned members of the NSB who had been liquidated by the resistance.

It was also awarded for special services to the NSB.

In ROWNO (Ukraine), the WERKDIENST HOLLAND operated as part of the Nederlandse Oost Compagnie (NOC) on behalf of the German occupier.

He was killed by partisans.
