De Nederlandsche Politie – Dec 1943

Official publication of the Kameraadschapsbond (November 1942 – May 1945), the organization representing the Dutch police during the Second World War.

The magazine had a distinctly National Socialist character and served to promote the ideology of the German occupation authorities.

It contains numerous informative articles on police-related subjects, often illustrated with photographs and drawings.

The section "Official Announcements" includes many personnel transfers and appointments, providing a wealth of information for historians and researchers.

The magazine was published twice a month between 1943 and 1945.

It was printed by the Arbeiderspers printing house in Amsterdam, which also produced much of the printed material for the SS.

Note: The role of the Dutch police during the occupation remains highly controversial. In particular, members of the so-called Schalkhaar Police became known for actively pursuing resistance members, black market traders, and especially Jewish citizens. As a result, this period continues to be an important subject of historical research.
