Fotonieuws – Extra October Issue 1941 – Dutch Volunteer Legion

Extra October issue of Fotonieuws from 1941, a special issue entirely devoted to the Vrijwilligers Legioen Nederland (Dutch Volunteer Legion).

This is the most sought-after issue of the entire Fotonieuws series and one that is rarely offered in complete original condition. The special issue focuses entirely on the Dutch Volunteer Legion, making it a particularly interesting piece of NSB and German occupation-era publishing.

Fotonieuws was one of the most attractively produced magazines published by the NSB and appeared monthly. The editor-in-chief was C.A. Wenniger Mulder. The first issue appeared in December 1940, while the final issue, no. 13, was published in December 1943. The magazine was subsequently continued under the title Echo.

This October 1941 special issue is complete, in good condition, and has a horizontal fold.

A particularly desirable issue for collectors of NSB publications, Dutch volunteer units and occupation-era periodicals.
