When Propaganda Asked for Medical Aid

Original poster with the appeal:

“Countrymen, support the Netherlands Ambulance in the East.”

The purpose of this poster was to raise funds for the Netherlands Ambulance for the medical care of Dutch volunteers in the Waffen-SS on the Eastern Front.

Note: Opponents joked that it looked as if the vehicle was driving into an abyss!!
