German Panic Order – Sept 1944

Announcement, 4 Sept 1944 Due to the events in early September 1944, the Germans in the Netherlands were deeply shaken. Pure panic gripped many, and with draconian measures they tried to restore calm among the population.

Note the threatening tone: People found outside between 8:00 PM and 4:00 AM are shot immediately, even without warning.
