This poster was printed during the war by the NEDERLANDSCHE ROTOGRAVURE MAATSCHAPPIJ (NRM; 1913–1972). At this printing company in LEIDEN (HOLLAND), many different posters, postcards, brochures, magazines, calendars, etc. were printed for the German occupier. This material was often printed in many languages and distributed across Europe.

Maker: ANTON (= OTTOMAR ANTON, 1895–1976)

Theme: It suggests that the boy in the Hitler Youth uniform in the foreground will later serve in the Waffen SS.

Note: in the bottom right corner is the logo of the printing company: a key in a loop. Two crossed keys are the coat of arms of Leiden.
