German Ammunition Handbook
Recognition Handbook for German Ammunition
Undoubtedly one of the most comprehensive (American) handbooks for identifying German WWII ammunition.
294 pages, 20 x 26 cm, weighing over 600 grams.
Nearly every page contains photographs of ordnance. It is almost impossible to list all types of ammunition and weapons covered.
Includes images of mines, hand grenades, fuzes, bullets of various types and calibers, and much more. Notably, it also shows a wide range of crates and corresponding labels, some in color.
Contains lists of abbreviations and translations related to ammunition terminology.
For example, the label used for the explosive charge of the well-known mini tracked vehicle Goliath tracked mine is illustrated on page 248.
Cover slightly stained due to water exposure.
Published April 1945.
Extremely rare — very seldom offered.
