Movable Disc Card – Germany vs Neighbors

Original double-sided printed card concerning the armament of Germany’s neighboring countries.

Using a rotating disc, one could read how many weapons were possessed by the countries directly bordering Germany.

The purpose was to demonstrate how heavily armed Germany’s neighbors supposedly were, while Germany itself allegedly had very few weapons.

For example, war aircraft:

• France: 4,500
• Poland: 1,000
• Belgium: 400
• England: 2,450
  etc.

GERMANY: 0!!!!!

The reverse side could be used as a kind of timetable or agenda (Stundenplan).
