H. Reydon – The Worker’s “Future”

De Toekomst van den Arbeider – 1935

Original NSB brochure “De Toekomst van den Arbeider”, written by Mr. H. Reydon, one of the prominent members of the NSB during its early years.

The brochure contains 24 numbered pages and was published without a date, probably around 1935. It presents the NSB's views on the position and future of the worker, making it an interesting example of early NSB political and ideological propaganda.

The author, H. Reydon, later became one of the most prominent figures within the NSB. He died on 24 August 1943, as a result of an assassination attempt carried out by the Dutch resistance on 7 February 1943.

Following his death, his surviving family members were awarded the NSB “Strijd en Offer” honorary medal. Such medals were reserved for people who had rendered notable services to the NSB and were considered to have made a significant contribution to the movement.
