Arrests and Threats in Amsterdam, July 1942

AMSTERDAM, 14 July 1942 700 Jews were arrested in Amsterdam.

If the 4000 (!) conscripted Jews do not leave for a labor camp (= concentration camp), the 700 detainees will be transferred to a concentration camp.

This was pure blackmail!!
