Kinderlandverschickung Armband

Original armband: Landaufenthalt für Stadtkinder e.V.

Due to the continuous and devastating Allied bombings, the lives of many children in large German cities were increasingly endangered.

As part of the Kinderlandverschickung program, children were sent to the countryside where they would be safer.

The armband of this organization served a similar purpose, although the foundation already existed before 1933. It helped underprivileged children by offering them temporary stays outside the city.
