Legion Poster “Moet ik ook?”

Large original recruitment poster for the Vrijwilligerslegioen Nederland.

Printed on thick paper, in very good condition.

The poster features a thin, somewhat timid civilian asking almost anxiously: “Must I also?” (Moet ik ook?).
The implied response is negative: “No, not you — only strong men do.”

This creates a clear psychological pressure: the addressed man is led to think that by volunteering, he too could become a “strong man.”

The striking color scheme — orange, white, and light blue (typical for the Legion) — made the poster visually impactful at the time.
