Pasted Mussert Stamps 39/40

Support Stamps for the NSB During a Time of Decline

19 support stamps in aid of the NSB. Motto: MUSSERT’s struggle is mine.

The donations of 25 cents each took place during a period of absolute decline, from 1939 until the invasion in May 1940. The last three stamps are dated with a postmark: May 14, 1940. All previous stamps are hand-dated in pencil. Very rare sheet!

NB: Strangely enough, in the top right corner, a name and location are written in green ink, belonging to someone in CRANFORD, America. A Dutch sympathizer/donor?
