Original Rotterdam Poster – Work Abroad, 1943

Original poster from Rotterdam encouraging people to contact the advisory office for information about employment opportunities abroad. The poster was valid during the period from 15 May to 15 June 1943, at a time when the Netherlands was under German occupation and recruitment for work in Germany and elsewhere formed part of the wartime labour policy.

An interesting piece of original Dutch WWII printed ephemera, documenting wartime employment initiatives and the promotion of work abroad. Particularly appealing to collectors of Dutch occupation-era posters, labour recruitment material and German occupation propaganda.
