Extraordinary WWII SS Photograph

According to the handwritten note on the reverse, this photograph was stolen from German SS personnel.

Taken in January 1944.

Original photographs depicting executions are exceptionally rare, as German servicemen were generally prohibited from photographing such scenes without official authorization.

Condition: Fair to mediocre. The photograph shows impressions and creasing, as it was reportedly carried in a wallet or inside an Ausweis for many years.
