Watch with swastika
A museum piece!
On May 19, 1933, the National Socialist government prohibited the improper use of Nazi symbols on various personal and advertising items, such as sausage, toilet paper, children's balls, piggy banks, cufflinks with swastikas, etc. These items could no longer be sold but were not immediately confiscated.
This watch strap likely also fell under the "Law for the Protection of National Symbols."
The watch itself is defective, but the strap is in good condition.
A highly curious museum piece!
