Wilhelmus de Rijke Portrait with Rechtsfront Stickpin 

Original NSB postcard portrait of Wilhelmus de Rijke, Tokyo, 10 November 1896 – died 16 September 1971.

He obtained a doctorate in law and later became an active member of the NSB. From 1937 onward, he served as an NSB member of the Dutch Senate (First Chamber).

After the war, he was so severely beaten by a prison guard that one of his legs had to be amputated.

Of particular interest is the Rechtsfront membership stickpin worn on his tie. I am not aware of any other photographs showing this pin being worn.
