SS parades in front of Mussert

Parade time!

Members of the Dutch SS parade past MUSSERT, who is standing on a platform.

The Dutch SS, officially known as the Nederlandsche SS, was established in 1940 as a paramilitary organization aligned with the Nazi SS. It was initially formed to recruit Dutch volunteers for the Waffen-SS, the armed wing of the Nazi Party's Schutzstaffel. The organization aimed to promote Nazi ideology and support the German occupation of the Netherlands. In 1942, it was renamed the Germaansche SS in Nederland to emphasize its alignment with the broader Germanic SS.
