Rare WWII Photographs Taken from German SS
Two original photographs depicting the aftermath of a partisan attack, reportedly taken from German SS personnel.
According to the handwritten note on the reverse, these photographs were taken from German SS personnel.
They were taken in January 1944.
Original photographs of this nature are exceptionally rare, as German servicemen were generally prohibited from photographing scenes involving casualties, executions, or other sensitive wartime subjects without official authorization.

- Small photograph: 5.5 × 5.5 cm
- Large photograph: 6 × 8 cm
Condition: Fair to mediocre. Both photographs show impressions and creases, as they were reportedly carried in a wallet or identity document holder (Ausweis) for an extended period.
