Rare Photo From Brutal 1941 Amsterdam Clashes
On 11 February 1941 there were fierce street fights in Amsterdam between members of the WA and Jewish fighting groups who had had enough of provocations and harassment by the WA in the days before. The violent clashes took place on the Waterlooplein. The WA man Hendrik Koot died 3 days later from his injuries.
WA man Kuyters, photographed here, was also injured during these riots.
